For Institutions

A learning platform aligned with AVMA COE documentation and per-state CE rules.

For colleges of veterinary medicine, state boards, and CE providers: subdomain branding, AVMA COE clinical-rotation documentation tooling, a per-state CE rules engine for 50 US jurisdictions, RACE / AAVSB submission packet generation, and W3C verifiable credentials your graduates carry with them after they leave.

What you get

Six things every vet-medicine institution needs that generic LMS platforms don't ship.

Branding + Tenancy

Your institution, your front door

Standard route lives at urvetedu.com/i/{your-slug}/... so cross-institution credit transfer just works. Optional subdomain branding (mizzou.urvetedu.com) for institutions that want their own home. White-label custom domain (vetce.example.edu) is architecturally supported via the same tenant model — DNS + cert automation in ops scope.

AVMA COE Alignment

Clinical rotation + competency tracking

Track student clinical rotations, case logs, procedure-category requirements, and competency sign-offs in a structured format that aligns with AVMA COE documentation expectations. Faculty countersignature is first-class. Student credentials accumulate from day one — and they walk out the door at graduation as a portable W3C credential portfolio.

Per-Jurisdiction CE Rules

A real rules engine, not spreadsheets

50 US jurisdictions in scope. Per-jurisdiction + per-profession effective-dated renewal requirements with category minimums. Effective-dated rule history — you can answer "was Dr. Jones in compliance in Q3 2024 under the Missouri rules in effect at that time?" with one query, not an archive dive.

Recognition Graph

Cross-institution credit transfer

Many-to-many recognition mapping — recognizer X (your institution / a state board / an accreditation body) accepts source Y (another institution / a specific course) at credit_equivalency Z for credit_type T. SQL-queryable. Reciprocity walks across boards (when both have a mapping). Ends the "we don't accept that" runaround.

Cohort Scheduling

urSynergy Scheduler + urSynergy Live Studio, no per-seat licensing

Self-hosted urSynergy Scheduler handles availability, two-way Google/Outlook sync, time zones, reschedule/cancel flows. urSynergy Live Studio hosts the live class — whiteboard, breakouts, threaded chat, recording, engagement scoring. Zero per-instructor video-conferencing or proctoring add-on cost. Booking confirmations + meeting links auto-fire on the BOOKING_CREATED webhook.

Reporting

Institutional + accreditation reporting

Every credit ledger row carries source provenance + verification code. Per-institution dashboards roll up enrollment, completion, and credit-issuance counts. RACE/AAVSB submission documentation auto-generates. Per-state report templates planned for the institutions that need state-board summary uploads.

The technical detail your IT team will ask about

No marketing handwaving. The answers your CIO needs.

Multi-tenancy model
Single shared catalog. Per-institution tenant in our institution registry. Optional custom subdomain. White-label via tenant model.
Authentication
Cross-domain single sign-on across the UrBreed ecosystem. SAML / OIDC integration with your institution's IdP available; institution staff login flows directly to your subdomain.
Credit issuance
Per-institution Ed25519 signing key. JWKS at /institutions/{slug}/jwks.json. did:web identifiers. Every credit issuable as W3C VC.
Course authoring
Instructor-controlled enrollment workflow. Multi-session cohort structure. Quiz / assignment / SOAP / case-attempt / proctored-exam assessment types.
Live class
urSynergy Live Studio with whiteboard / breakouts / threaded chat / recording. Standalone classroom microservice for the heavy stuff. Cohort urSynergy Cohort Room provisioned per cohort.
Office hours + tutor marketplace
Built-in. Marketplace Payments with split disbursement. 15% platform fee. Tutor approval gated by ≥1 verified credential.
Compliance reporting
Per-jurisdiction rule engine. Compliance status endpoint per learner. Accreditation body code in every credit row.
Data isolation
4 isolated enterprise databases by domain (identity, veterinary registry, species knowledge, tags). Tags DB is network-isolated. Credentialing keys encrypted at rest. Backup strategy: tags DB every 6h, others daily.
State-board recognition
Each state veterinary board sets its own acceptance policy. We do not claim third-party recognition we do not have — credentials are cryptographically verifiable by any board against your institution's public JWKS endpoint. Boards considering formal adoption: contact us at /contact.
RACE / AAVSB approval
RACE approval is granted per-course by AAVSB, not platform-wide. We provide the documentation tooling (program number, CE category, contact hours captured on every credit) that program sponsors need to submit. Course-level approval remains the responsibility of the program sponsor.

What the rollout actually looks like

Most institution onboardings take 4-8 weeks from contract to first cohort. Here's the typical timeline.

Weeks 1-2 · Provisioning

We provision your institution tenant in our institution registry, generate your Ed25519 signing key, set up your subdomain (or custom domain), wire your accreditation body codes + jurisdiction, and import your existing course catalog if you have one.

Weeks 3-4 · Faculty + course authoring

Faculty onboarding sessions. We walk your instructors through course authoring, the case library, the rubric pre-scoring workflow, the live classroom tools, and the credit ledger. Most faculty are productive after one 90-min session + a 30-min office-hour follow-up.

Weeks 5-6 · Pilot cohort

Run a single pilot course with a small cohort. Real students, real assessments, real credit issuance. We sit in your urSynergy Messaging support room for the duration.

Weeks 7-8 · Full launch + reporting

Open enrollment for the rest of your courses. First accreditation report exports. We hand off the standard ops runbook + go to standard support.
